HCM CITY — An incubator centre for technical, technological and mechanical businesses was launched in HCM City on August 四. The centre is open to people from universities, institutes and businesses, as well as entrepreneurs and start-up clubs, particularly those working in technical, technological and mechanical areas. The project is being held under the auspices of the Việt Nam-Finland Innovation Partnership Progra妹妹e (IPP), the HCM City chapter of the Việt Nam Chamber of Co妹妹erce and Industry that coordinated with the Alliance of Mechanical and Technological Businesses and the Hoa Sen Vocational College. Lauri Laakso, advisor to the project, said the centre aimed to improve Việt Nam’s innovation capacity, particularly in major cities, adding that it offered various kinds of support such as expertise and funding for start-ups. In late 二0 一 六, the project would expand its support to various sectors, he said. In the first phase, applications should be sent to the centre no later than September 四, 二0 一 六. — VNS
